Aiffro K100 | Unraid Installation Guide

Aiffro K100 | Unraid Installation Guide

This tutorial mainly explains how to install Unraid on Aiffro K100.

Unraid: a powerful and easy-to-use operating system, suitable for self-hosted servers and network-attached storage. The system's advantage is that various types of hard drives can be freely added to the array as storage space, Docker and virtual machine management is convenient, hard drive sleep support, and good hardware compatibility.

Aiffro K100: a "full flash" NAS, supports 4 M.2 slots, with a maximum capacity of 16TB. It is equipped with an Intel N100 processor, 8GB of memory, and a 2.5G Ethernet port for fast access to file data.

Main Process Directory: 1. Download the ISO image file of Unraid 2. USB Creation 3. Boot Setup 4. System Installation.

  1. Download the ISO image file of Unraid

Download the image from the Unraid official website https://unraid.net

Download USB creation tool.

  1. USB Creation

Install USB creation tool

Click on "Select Operating System".

You can download online or use a local offline image (the U disk will be automatically formatted, no need for separate erasure).

Click on "Select SD Card".

Select the USB disk to burn, click "NEXT".

You can set up the network (default is fine).

Prompt to delete data, click "CONTINUE".

If there is a pop-up, click "Cancel".

This means the "network" is not working.

Burning completed.

  1. Boot Setup

Below is the boot setup for Aiffro K100, as the settings for each device's motherboard may be different, it is recommended to search for relevant settings.

Boot up and press "Esc" or "Del" to enter BIOS when the logo appears.

Go to the Boot interface.

Set the boot sequence (generally setting Option 1 should be fine).

Select the boot device.

Here I selected the SanDisk USB drive as the boot device.

After setting, remember to save, or it won't take effect, you can also directly press "F4" to save.

  1. System Installation

It will automatically choose the first item to start (in special cases where interface operations are needed, you can choose the second item).

Once the system starts up, the NAS IP will appear.

Access the NAS IP through a computer browser, you can see the initialization interface of UNRAID.

Set the password for the root account.

Click on "Start Free 30 Day Trial".

You need to register an account to start the trial.

That's it!

Click on "MAIN", you need to set up the array first.

Here I only chose one disk for the array.

After setting up, click on "START".

You need to check and confirm the formatting of the hard drive.

This will start the array and you can begin using it.
