Why can't P10 Plus be recognized on the phone? (P10 Plus is an SSD used on the phone)
For Android system phones: You can directly see the notification in the notification bar that an external storage is connected.
For iPhone: Please open the "Files" app on your phone, click browse to see if you can find a disk named Aiffro. If you don't see it, please contact Aiffro technical support (support@aiffro.com).
Transfer Speeds of P10 Plus When Connecting to Different Devices
• When connected to a computer supporting USB 3.0 GEN2x2, the maximum speed can reach 2000MB/s.
• When connected to iPhone 15/16 Pro (Max), the speed is limited by the iPhone’s interface, with a maximum speed of 1000MB/s.
• When connected to older iPhones with Lightning interfaces, or iPhone 15/16 (Plus) models, the maximum speed can reach 50MB/s.
• When connected to Android phones, the speed may vary depending on the Type-C interface:
• USB 2.0: Maximum speed of 50MB/s.
• USB 3.0: Maximum speed of 450MB/s.
• USB 3.2: Maximum speed of 1000MB/s.
Note: All units are in bytes per second.
When using an SSD testing software, I cannot achieve the sequential read and write speed of 2000MB/s. Why is that?
Different testing software may yield different results. When using CrystalDiskMark for testing, the sequential read and write speeds can reach 2000MB/s.
- Please ensure that your computer supports USB 3.2 Gen2x2 20Gbps and use the Type-C data cable provided by us.
Why is the transfer speed extremely slow when using the built-in data cable of iPhone15/16 Pro(max) to connect the hard drive?
The built-in data cable of iPhone15/16 Pro(Max) only supports USB 2.0, which cannot achieve the transfer speed of USB 3.2. Therefore, the speed will be significantly slower.
What should I do if I can't copy files to or read files from the hard drive when connected to iPhone?
1. Connect the hard drive to a computer and check if the hard drive is formatted in exFAT format. If not, you will need to back up all the files on the hard drive and format it to exFAT format.
2. If the hard drive is also not recognized when connected to a computer, try checking it using Disk Management or other disk utility tools on a Windows computer to see if it can be detected. If it still cannot be recognized, there may be a hardware issue with the hard drive. Please contact the technical support team at support@aiffro.com, provide details of the situation, and include the order number.
Why can’t my Apple device detect the P10 Plus?
Please check if your device is running iOS 13 or higher. The following devices cannot be upgraded to iOS 13 or above due to Apple restrictions, so we cannot support them.
Devices not supported by iOS 13:
• iPhone 6 and earlier models
• iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3
• iPad Air (1st generation)
• iPod touch (6th generation)
